Your shared purpose for the last two decades has been focused on raising amazing kids. Now it is time to explore and define your shared purpose for the next chapter. What life do you want to create together?
Who are the people you want in your life now?
What contribution do you want to make in your family, community and the world?
How can you design your life to experience continuous personal growth together?
This Shared Purpose retreat, designed by our founder, Aaron Hurst, is a uniquely curated experience that helps empty nest couples reconnect and develop a shared purpose for their next chapter.
The weekend features thoughtfully structured exercises and group interactions, allowing couples to unwind, gain clarity about their life's direction, and build deeper connections with themselves and their partner. It also provides a taste of the amazing life that is in store for them (enjoying time together, meeting other people, great dinner conversations, new adventures, etc.).
This weekend is designed to show you what is possible for you in your next chapter. You will spend time with other couples reconnecting to what brings purpose, meaning and joy to your life.
This intimate retreat is designed for groups of six couples who are exploring what it means to thrive after the kids are gone.
This workshop is not therapy or couples counseling. If you need to invest in the foundations of trust and intimacy, you should seek another resource.
This weekend is led by our founder, Aaron Hurst. It is a unique opportunity to spend the weekend with one of the pioneers in purpose and connection. Aaron has led some of the most important research in the field, built movements to change the way we work and volunteer, and is a masterful facilitator.
The idea for this retreat emerged from his own desire to develop a vision for the next stage of his life with his wife as their kids begin to leave the nest.
Aaron uses kindness, creativity, and curiosity to design his life. It has led him to found the Taproot Foundation and Imperative. It has led him to write three books. It has led him to teach numerous and varied groups--from classrooms to prisons to universities to board rooms. Most importantly, it has led him to build his family and a community of friends.
The empty nester couples weekend workshop tuition is $2,500 per person. Tuition includes the three day workshop, two nights stay at Willows Lodge, and meals (except for Saturday dinner).
Full tuition is due upon registration. Should you need to reschedule, there is a 50% rescheduling fee.
Scholarships are available.
