Your life may be filled but is it fulfilling? Take a step back and spend a weekend redesigning your life to make sure you are focused on what matters most to you.
Aaron Hurst
How can you build the relationships you both need to thrive?
What contribution do you want to make in your family, community and the world?
How can you design your life to experience continuous personal growth?
The Shared Purpose Retreat, designed by our founder, Aaron Hurst, is a uniquely curated experience that combines personal and professional growth with a focus on relationships. Participants bring a friend, known as their co-pilot, to embark on a journey of self-discovery and mutual support.
The retreat features thoughtfully structured exercises and group interactions, allowing attendees to unwind, gain clarity about their life's direction, and build deeper connections with themselves and their co-pilots. It's a weekend dedicated to exploring the intersections of personal and professional purpose while fostering connections, both with others and one's own life priorities.
It is a holistic experience that takes place in a beautiful, nourishing environment and offers a safe and open space for reflection, learning, and personal growth. At its core, it's about using love and compassion to improve relationships, connect with others, and create a vision for the future.
The co-pilot model, where no one comes alone or leaves alone, is a "unique and brilliant approach" that brings "perspective and accountability." People find it easier to "step into the unknown" and it enables "vulnerability and trust." Participants find themselves doing "deeper dives into purpose" and find "enhanced value and meaning." It "strengthens relationships" and attendees "committed to support each other over the long haul."
This workshop is a purpose design studio where you will evaluate the sources of meaning in your life and identify the ways to bring more purpose and possibility to everyday:
You are switching jobs or careers and want to do it with intention to ensure you thrive. Or, perhaps you are retiring and want to design your life after decades focused on your career.
Your family is changing - marriage, divorce, children, empty nest, caring or caring for aging parents. Each change is an opportunity to step back and make sure you are showing up with intention.
You are moving and setting up a new life. This is an exciting time to reevaluate how you want to show up in the world.
This weekend is led by our founder, Aaron Hurst. It is a unique opportunity to spend the weekend with one of the pioneers in purpose and connection. Aaron has led some of the most important research in the field, built movements to change the way we work and volunteer, and is a masterful facilitator.
Aaron uses kindness, creativity, and curiosity to design his life. It has led him to found the Taproot Foundation and Imperative. It has led him to write three books. It has led him to teach numerous and varied groups--from classrooms to prisons to universities to board rooms. Most importantly, it has led him to build his family and a community of friends.
Close friends who are both looking to make changes in their lives.
Couples who want to create a shared vision for their next chapter and strengthen their friendship.
Adult siblings who want to support each other and make sure they stay close over time.
Friends Shared Purpose weekend workshop tuition is $2,500 per person. Tuition includes the three day workshop, two nights stay at Willows Lodge, and meals (except for Saturday dinner). If you need a second room, it is an additional $1,000.
Full tuition is due upon registration. Should you need to reschedule, there is a 50% rescheduling fee up to one month prior.
